Rosemary Cookies

On a roll with rosemary from the garden, I thought cookies sounded divine. This recipe is adapated from "The Herbal Epicure."

1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 cup flour
1 tablespoon fresh rosemary leaves, finely chopped
evaporated cane juice sugar for rolling

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar; add flour and rosemary. Roll pieces of dough into balls, coat in sugar, press down on cookie sheet with fork or bottom of glass. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees until brown.
