Popcorn

Today marked our once-a-year snowstorm, so in addition to cooking and baking, I decided to make a batch of popcorn. I can never remember the ratio, though, so here is what worked today.

1/3 cup popcorn
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon EarthBalance butter, melted
salt, to taste
nutritional yeast (optional), to taste

I have a Whirly-Pop or something like that, which is a stovetop device that works well. Place oil and popcorn in Whirley-Pop and heat over medium heat. Keep turning device until most kernals have popped. Empty into bowl and top with butter, salt and nutritional yeast, to taste.
